Day 01: Arrive in Stockholm (Sweden)

Arrive in Stockholm, transfer to the hotel on private basis and check-in. Stockholm is the capital city of Sweden and its chilly and windy atmosphere needs no introduction. An evening stroll at the Gamla Stan – one of the most happening places of Stockholm. Overnight in Stockholm.

Day 02: Stockholm • Boden

Breakfast at the hotel. Spend the day exploring Stockholm with a Hop-On-Hop-Off bus. With designated stops around the city, you can discover more of the city’s landmarks and attractions in lesser time. Hop on where you like and hop off whenever you want; flexible and easy to use, exploring a city has never been so simple. Immerse yourself into the tranquil Old Town of Gamla Stan. Its pretty coloured buildings make it a fairy-tale destination. Roam the cobbled streets of this vibrant neighbourhood and stop for a spot of lunch in a cafe in the middle of the square for the ultimate Stockholm experience! Visit ABBA the Museum – a highly interactive journey through one of the greatest pop careers in musical history! In the late evening you will depart by an overnight train to Boden, with accommodation in a sleeping compartment onboard the train. Overnight onboard the train.

Day 03: Boden • Harads

Morning arrive by train in Boden. From here you will be transferred for 30 minutes into the boreal forest of the Swedish Lapland – The Tree-hotel. It is in Harads, near the Lule river. This village has a population of about 600 people, features a restaurant, shop and a guest house. When you arrive at the Tree-hotel, you will check-in at Britta’s Guest House. From here it is a short stroll through beautiful nature to your tree room. The eco-friendly Tree-hotel consists of seven rooms, each designed by a different Swedish architect, nestled between 4 to 6 metres up in the pines. Here you can enjoy the quiet, timelessness and harmony that are found in the trees and its surroundings. You can also join one of the optional winter activities. Britta’s Guest House has an authentic 1930-50’s setting and offers a restaurant,bar, sauna, TV, and internet. Overnight in Harads.

Optional Activities:

Ice Dining: Experience a dinner on an ice-covered lake in the moonlight,with the chance to see the Northern Lights! The evening will be lit by torches and candles while you comfortably sit on reindeer skins. You will be served a local 3-course in a heated tipi on top of a frozen lake. Enjoy your meal in these spectacular surroundings!

Forest Spa: Try out this sauna/relax package including a hot tub and the use of a sauna next to the Tree-hotel in Swedish Lapland with views of a snow-covered forest.

Dog Sledding: Day Tour: Try out a 2-hour dog sledding experience as a passenger steered by an experienced guide. Enjoy the tranquillity of snow-covered nature with pristine forests and frozen rivers and lakes 

Day Excursion to Icebreaker Cruise (Polar Explorer)

Proceed to enjoy the Icebreaker Cruise. Experience being on and off the Icebreaker ship, a 3-hour cruise in the frozen water of the Bothnian Sea of Lapland. Walk on the frozen sea and you can even go for a swim! With their thermal and unsinkable floatation suit, even people who cannot swim can still try. Receive memorabilia of your Icebreaker trip with a “Cruise & Swim Certificate”! Except that, you can enjoy Horse Riding, a Sami Visit, speedy skijoring (horse-pulled skiing) etc. Note: You can spend 02–03 Nights and enjoy snow activities.

Day 04: Harads • Arjeplog

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Proceed to Arjeplog by a private vehicle to enjoy one of the most unique experiences known as ‘Drive on Ice’.It is for all those wanting to experience driving in extreme conditions on the open road. An instructor will guide you to the Arctic Circle, whilst at the same time giving you valuable advice on your driving technique. Those who like to drive on ice can opt for a 02-day program and so on. Except this one can enjoy snow activities like Dog Sledding, Elk Photo Safari, Snow Scooter, Downhill Skiing and/or Helicopter Tours after driving sessions. Overnight in Arjeplog. 

Note: You can spend 02–04 Nights as per the driving program selected.

Day 05: Arjeplog • Abisko

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Proceed to Abisko by a private vehicle. In Abisko you will stay at Abisko Tourist Station (located in National Park),where you can opt for cottages or family rooms to stay in. At night proceed to visit the Aurora Sky Station. The mountain station is an excellent location to observe the Northern Lights since there is no air pollution and the nearby lake Torne träsk, "the blue hole of Abisko”, is said to keep the skies above the mountain station clear, even when fog covers other parts of Lapland. Upon arrival you will join a guided tour at the Aurora Sky Station where you will find a panorama café selling coffee, tea, cakes and sandwiches, a souvenir shop and a look-out tower. There is also a Northern Lights exhibition, which emphasizes observing and understanding the Northern Lights. Overnight in Abisko.

Day 06: Abisko • Jukkasjarvi

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Take a private transfer to Jukkasjarvi where Ice Hotel is located. The Ice Hotel is Scandinavia's original, as well as the largest ice hotel in the world. Each year the Ice Hotel is built from ice from the Torne River, and artists from all over the world gather in the small village of Jukkasjarvi to create the Ice Hotel and all its art is made of snow ice. The interior is always between -5°C to -8°C, even when it gets up to -37°C outside. This afternoon we can join one of the optional winter activities or rent our own cross-country skis or snowshoeing equipment and head off on our own. In the evening, we can dine at the Ice Hotel Restaurant or at the authentic and charming Old Homestead Restaurant. There are also several optional Northern Lights tours on offer in the evening. Accommodation at the Ice Hotel, in rooms furnished with furniture made from ice and snow. You will sleep in a thermal sleeping bag on comfortable reindeer skins in a special bed built of snow and ice. Overnight in Jukkasjarvi. Note: You can spend 02 Nights. One night in the Ice Room and another in the Warm Room.

Day 07: Jukkasjarvi • Kiruna

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Proceed to Kiruna by a private vehicle and check-in at hotel. Kiruna is known for the huge LKAB iron ore mine and its underground visitors center with an exhibit on mining. Hjalmar Lundbohmsgården, the 19th-century former home of LKAB’s first managing director, is now a museum with a courtyard photography exhibit. Kiruna Church is notable for its bell tower and resemblance to the traditional huts of the indigenous Sámi people. Explore the Kiruna Town on your own. Overnight in Kiruna.

Day 08: Kiruna • Sala

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Board your flight for Stockholm (flights on own). On arrival, proceed to Sala – the home of several famous places and people, but it is most known for its silver mine, which today is a popular tourist attraction. Today enjoy your stay at the silver mine along with a guided tour and Museum, you can also enjoy shopping of lovely souvenirs as well as practical and useful products. Overnight in Sala.

Day 09: Sala • Stockholm • Homeward Bound

Today check-out from the hotel & transfer to the Stockholm airport to take your flight back home with happy memories!
