Day 01: Arrive in Helsinki
Arrive in Helsinki, transfer to the hotel and check-in (standard check-in time is 1500 hrs.).The rest of the day is kept free for leisure. Overnight in Helsinki.
Day 02: Helsinki • Overnight Train
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Keep your luggage with the concierge and proceed to the city tour and Suomenlinna Island. Begin the tour with a visit to the city's cultural landmarks and historic monuments, including the Olympic Stadium, Sibelius Monument, Esplanade Park, Old Market Hall, Market Square, Uspenski Orthodox Cathedral, Senate Square and Helsinki Cathedral etc. After lunch (on own) continue in a ferry from the Helsinki Market Square to Suomenlinna, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is one of the world's largest sea fortresses that sprawls across a series of six small islands. During your walking tour, learn about the site's eventful history and see some of Suomenlinna's main attractions, like Suomenlinna Church, Jetty Barracks and Great Courtyard etc. Once you arrive, collect your luggage and proceed to the train station. Depart for Rovaniemi by train – one of the nicest experiences are Finnish trains. Overnight in the train.
Day 03: Arrive in Rovaniemi
Breakfast on own. Arrive and proceed to Rovaniemi City. Keep your luggage with the concierge and proceed to explore the city on own. In the afternoon, check-in at the hotel and relax. In the late evening, proceed to enjoy the Northern Lights chasing tour. Your professional guide will read the present aurora and weather conditions to determine where the highest possible chance for aurora sightings are. Overnight in Rovaniemi.
Day 04: Rovaniemi
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning proceed to enjoy the Santa Claus village, where you can visit Santa’s Post office, cross the Arctic Circle line and enjoy many more activities. In the afternoon, proceed to experience one of the best experiences – the Sauna of Finland – a substantial part of Finnish culture. Test the Finnish sauna in the tranquility of nature and the hot spring out in the cold. Here you learn about the health effects and traditions of the sauna and Ice Swimming. In Rovaniemi you can enjoy lots of adventure activities along with unique experiences. Overnight in Rovaniemi.
Day 05: Rovaniemi • Levi
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Proceed to Levi by a private vehicle,arrive and check-in at the Snow Hotel. Staying at the Snow Hotel is an Arctic thrill. A quiet snow room with a warm sleeping bag provides a pleasant setting for spending the night. The Snow Hotel is built with ice and snow in November, so it’s a little different each year. Enjoy a guided snow village tour and you will get a diploma for spending the night in a snow suite. Overnight in Levi.
Day 06: Levi
Breakfast at the hotel and proceed to enjoy your stay at the log cabin – traditional stay of Lapland, where you can enjoy a Sauna section with a shower and a jacuzzi indoors. Along with this you can enjoy snow activities like Husky Safari, snowmobiles, Reindeer Safari, cross country skiing, winter trails by Fatbike etc. Overnight in Levi.
Day 07: Levi • Rovaniemi
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Transfer back to Rovaniemi.On this night you can opt for one of the luxurious stays. Overnight in Rovaniemi.
Day 08: Rovaniemi • Kakslauttanen
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Today proceed to Kakslauttanen by a local bus. Arrive at Kakslauttanen and check-in at the Glass Igloo – thermal glass igloos featuring a bedroom with a glass roof and luxury beds. Spend the night at the Glass Igloo and relax. Overnight in Kakslauttanen.
Day 09: Kakslauttanen
Breakfast at the hotel. Today check-out from Glass Igloo and choose another option for your stay. Here you have lots of unique options (needing prior bookings). Today proceed to enjoy the Snow Tank Safari. A snow tank is the perfect way to experience the beauty of Finnish Lapland’s snowy fells and forests. From the warm, comfortable panoramic cabins with a glass roof and large side windows there is an amazing view of the Arctic nature. If you’re lucky you might also see the Northern Lights! Overnight in Kakslauttanen.
Day 10: Kakslauttanen • Helsinki
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Transfer to Ivalo airport. Depart for Helsinki (flights on own). Arrive at Helsinki and check-in at the hotel. Explore the city on your own. Overnight in Helsinki.
Day 11: Helsinki • Homeward Bound
Today check-out from the hotel & transfer to the Rovaniemi airport to take your flight back home with happy memories.
