Day 01: Tromso
Arrive Tromso Airport & transfer to Hotel & Check-in. The rest of the day is kept free for leisure. Overnight in Tromso.
Day 02: Tromso • City Walk, Cable Car & Midnight Cruise
Today morning proceed to discover the important sites and most picturesque spots in the city of Tromsø. See traces of medieval settlement & explore the vibrant marketplace and fisherman monument. Hear tales of explorers, sealers and polar bear hunters on a guided trip through the Polar Museum then visit the world’s northernmost cathedrals. Finish your tour at Tromsø’s most authentic pub, where dozens of Norwegian microbrews are on tap at an old-school polar hangout. Afternoon take the cable car from Solliveien in Tromsdalen up to the mountain ledge Storsteinen (421 m above sea level). The two gondolas, known as Seal and Polar bear, each have a capacity of 28 passengers. From the viewing platform at the upper station, you can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of Tromsø and the surrounding islands, mountains, and fjords. Late evening take the Midnight Sun Cruise. The midnight sun is one of nature’s great wonders. From 20th of May Tromso experience daylight for 24 hours with all its colours it sometimes looks like the sky is on fire. There is no guarantee that we will see the sun but when it’s not cloudy you can get a serious suntan in the middle of the night. Make the most of this inspiring experience by taking a comfortable boat through the fjords of Tromsø. Overnight in Tromso.
Day 03: Tromso • Arctic Wildlife Safari by Car & Boat
Today proceed to enjoy the Arctic Wildlife safari to experience the wonderful nature within easy range of Tromsø. This exclusive excursion features a round-trip by car, a RIB safari in a spectacular archipelago and lunch. We start this unique excursion by car from Tromsø and drive along the coast of Kvaløya island to beautiful Sommarøy, making stops along the way to take pictures, enjoy the beautiful scenery and try to spot animals and birds. Evening time is free at leisure. Overnight in Tromso.
Day 04: Tromso • Hiking Adventures around Tromsø
Today join a small group by minibus and discover surroundings of Tromsø from the vantage of a mountaintop. In fact, this Hiking Adventure is for everyone! This family-friendly outdoor activity does not require any special skills to be experienced! We travel by minibus to hike several famous little mountains for discovering different landscapes and talking about our special wildlife. Overnight in Tromso.
Day 05: Tromso • Homeward Bound
Today check-out from the hotel & transfer to the Tromso airport to take your flight back home.
