Experience The Northern Lights

Day 01: Arrive in Helsinki (Finland)

Arrive at Helsinki Airport – the capital city of Finland. After immigration and baggage collection, board your coach and proceed to enjoy a guided city tour of Helsinki, here visit the City Hall, Parliament House, Presidential Palace, Monumental Railroad Station, Lutheran Church, Olympic Stadium, Sibelius Monument, Rock Church & Market Place. After the city tour check-in at the hotel (standard check-in time is 1500 hrs.). Overnight in Helsinki.

Day 02: Helsinki • Rovaniemi

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Today proceed to Rovaniemi (flights on own). Arrive in Rovaniemi – the capital of Lapland and the official hometown of Santa Claus! The rest of the day is kept free for leisure. Overnight in Rovaniemi.

Day 03: Rovaniemi

Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to enjoy a guided city tour of Rovaniemi. Here you can visit the Lappia Hall, The Library, Town Hall and the Arctic Centre along with the history of the Rovaniemi. Later visit one of the most famous sites – the Santa Claus Village where we can meet Santa, take photos with him and cross the Arctic Circle! The Arctic Circle is defined as the point where during the winter the sun does not rise, and in the summer the sun does not set for at least one whole day. Overnight in Rovaniemi.

Day 04: Rovaniemi • Kiruna (Sweden)

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Today proceed to Sweden’s Lapland Area i.e. Kiruna – home of the Northern Lights, the world-famous Ice Hotel and the largest underground iron ore mine in the world! Arrive, check-in at hotel and relax. Overnight in Kiruna.

Day 05: Kiruna

Breakfast at the hotel. Today proceed to enjoy one of the most unique experiences of the world-famous Ice Hotel! Enjoy the tour of the Ice Hotel with visits to the ice rooms and spend some time at the hotel. The afternoon time is kept free for leisure. In the late evening, proceed to Abisko to visit the Aurora Sky Station – a Mountaintop observation centre for the Northern Lights accessed via chairlift. We can enjoy the view of the Northern Lights. Overnight in Kiruna.

Day 06: Kiruna • Tromsø (Norway)

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Today proceed to Tromsø – located in Norway’s Lapland area. Enroute take in the scenic beauty of the area and enjoy. On arrival, check-in and relax. Overnight in Tromsø.

Day 07: Tromsø

Breakfast at the hotel. Today proceed to enjoy a guided city tour of Tromsø. The guide will explain the history of the Tromsø and visit the Arctic University Museum, the Polar Museum, and the Arctic Cathedral. After the city visit enjoys Polaria – the world's most northerly aquarium. Here we will experience bearded seals, harbour seals, catfish, and tiny sharks up close, and we will get to know and feel the different species that move across the ocean floor. In the late evening, proceed to enjoy the Northern Lights Chasing Tour. Overnight in Tromsø.

Day 08: Tromsø

Breakfast at the hotel. Today proceed to enjoy the Reindeer Sledding, Reindeer Feeding and Sami Culture. Enjoy the Reindeer Sledding and feeding of wild reindeer and lasso throwing (but not on real reindeer). While enjoying the Sami Lunch at Warm Gamme, we can enjoy the Storytelling of Sami culture and a Joik performance (traditional Sami folk song). Afternoon time is to relax and in the late evening proceed to the Northern Lights Chasing Tour. Overnight in Tromsø.

Day 09: Tromsø • Oslo

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Depart for Oslo (flights on own). Arrive and directly proceed to enjoy a guided city tour of Oslo. We can visit the Holmenkollen Ski Jump (photo-stop), City Hall, Parliament House, National Theatre, Old Cathedral and Viking Museum: Museum on the Bygdøy peninsula with the world's best-preserved Viking ships and finds from Viking tombs around the Oslo Fjord. Followed by the Vigeland Sculpture Park – a sculpture park in the Frogner Park with more than 200 sculptures by Gustav Vigeland in bronze, granite and cast iron. Overnight in Oslo.

Day 10: Oslo • Homeward Bound

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Depart for the airport and board your flight back home
